The Temple's maha kumbabhisegam is fixed on 12-02-2016.

For the New Rajakopuram, 7 Sannthis, and Maha Madabam include compound wall, about Rs. 2.5 Crores has been so far invested.

Moreover, Second Phase of renovation of remaining Sannathis like Sri Andal Sannathi, Sri Ramar Sannathi, Sri Manavala Mamunigal Sannathi, Sri Alwars Sannathi, and Sri Salahara 3-Tier Kopuram (West Side) is to be taken up shortly.

Renovation Work

Renovation Work
 
 Sri Srinivasa perumal sannathi was constructed in 1879 by collectiong donation from various devotees, there after other sannathis were constructed.
 
This temple came under the control of Hindu Religious Act in 1966 . The last balalayam was held in 1982 and kumbhabishegam was held on 08-02-1985.
 
All the old sannathis were demolished and new sannathis are being constructed at a cost of  1 crore.
 
The Pudhucherry Honable Chief Minister Mr. Rangaswamy laid the foundation stone for construction of 5-tier rajagopuram at a total cost of Rs 60 lakhs, now the construction of rajagopuram has been completed . Maha mandabam between rajakopuram and main sannathis is constructed at a cost of Rs 50Lakhs,
 
Apart from this , new Sri Srinivasa perumal sannathi , Sri Lakshmi Narashimhar Sannathi, Sri Ranganathar Sannathi and Sri Anjanyar sannathi are constructed at a cost of R 1 crore.
 
After completion of the above said renovation works, the Mahakumbabhisegan was held on 12/02/2016 in a grand scale under the auspices of Thirukovilur Jeer and Singa Perumal Kovil Mudalinandan Swamikal and with the blessing of the Sri Srirangam Jeer.

Temple History

History
 
This Temple is one of the oldest and prestigious devasthanams in Puducherry situated in (Mahatma Gandhi Road) muthialpet, about 2kms from the shore of the Bay of Bangal. This temple was constructed as early as in 1800 AD
 
Grace to devotees by Lord Vishnu in this temple.

First the srinivasa perumal  sannathi was build by some of donars on 1879. Lateron, sannathis were build. 
 
Now, this temple is presenting doing the renovation works and Maha Kumbabishekam is to be held on 12-02-2016
 
The Honable Chief Minister Mr.Rangaswamy Pudhucherry laid the foundation stone for construction of this temple (renovation work) on 22-08-2012. 
 
The work has been completed fully at the cost of rupees 60 lakhs. Apart from this, the old sannathis of Sri Srinivasa Perumal sannathi, Sri Alamelu Mangai Thayar, Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar Sannathi, Sri Ranganathar Sannathi and Sri Anjanayar Sannathi were demolished and new sannathis are constructed at a cost of rupees 1 crore.
 
This Temple is under the control of the Goverment of Puducherry and under the purview of the Hindu Religious Institutions act, 1972
